The New York Yankees have a brand reputation that is above all in Major League Baseball. They have been at the forefront of baseball for as long as the game has been in existence. The Yankees are known worldwide and we see Yankees gear worn by everyone no matter what age, race, or gender. The Yankees are more than a baseball team, they are the team they everyone wants to beat no matter how good or bad they are. I chose this brand because of one thing, the way the Yankees operate on a daily basis. They have always been a organization that does the right things and have kept their reputation as being the best baseball organization in the world. The Yankee faithful have always been there to cheer them on and that is not going to stop anytime soon.
The Yankees were first introduced me when I was a young child and they were ingrained in my life since the beginning. My family is all Yankee fans and that tradition has been going on for generations. We are a Yankee family and try to represent ourselves the way the Yankees represent themselves on a professional level.
According to their website the mission of the New York Yankees on a baseball level is to win the World Series every year, anything less is considered a failure. They also have a mission that is bigger than baseball the New York Yankees are committed to working in conjunction with their neighbors in New York to enhance the quality of life throughout the surrounding communities. On a consistent basis, the Yankees partner with community-based organizations to host events at Yankee Stadium and dedicate several millions of dollars in resources to support various outreach efforts that focus on providing positive educational, recreational and social outlets for New York City residents.

Their history dates back decades and it all started with Babe Ruth. Since the organization began the team has won 27 World Series Titles and that alone may never be caught by any other team. If you are a Yankee, you must represent the organization with respect at all times because of what the people before you accomplished.
