The New York Yankees are notorious for posting videos and pictures of their players, fans, coaches, and city on their social media and team website. The content that they post screams out the history of the organization and the organizations mission. The Yankees incorporate all players, coaches, and fans when the pictures and videos are posted. One of the main reasons why the Yankees have a big following is because of how the Yankees treat their fans. Yankee fans are active on the Yankees social media and that's what draws people in. In order to stay in line with the organizations goals the Yankees do a terrific job of posting individual players but also posting the team as well. The mission of the Yankees every year is to win the World Series and in order to do that the team has to come together. A different angle to look at is the symbol of the New York Yankees. The classic NY is scene everywhere in the world and is worn by the biggest celebrities. The Yankees have established their brand as one of the most successful sports organization in history. When people see the NY they can directly relate it to the Yankees and that symbol will never go away.  The Yankees have many followers so in order for them to stay on the right side of their fans they must put out a large amount of content to relate to all different people who follow them.

In order for the New York Yankees to continue to grow there are many steps they can take to expand their brand. Their social media and website is just scratching the surface on what they can achieve and who they can reach out to. An idea on what they can do would be to give a behind the scenes look into an average day for a Yankee player or coach. Teams do this behind the scenes look but only give out certain information while other things remain hidden. For most people they will not get the chance to play professional baseball and people find it fascinating what goes into an average day as a professional player. For the Yankees to take the next step in expanding their content they must reach out to their fans even more. In the world we live in today it is hard to get excited for a baseball game because fans cannot attend in person. Being able to see what is going on and what players are doing during this time would bring fans closer to the organization as a whole. The Yankees will always have content to display but it is up to them to make sure they do not fall behind other teams and what they are doing. The twenty seven time World Series Champions have been on top of the game for years and they need to ensure it stays that way. They are on top not only on the field but in the media, in the community, and in the heats of their fans. Yankee fans are always demanding the best from the organization and it is up to them to deliver the best media content they can put out.
