Pinstripe Alley

The New York Yankees do not have an official blog of its own but there are many fan blogging websites available. Pinstripe Alley is the most popular website used by Yankee fans. This website is monitored by a current Yankee fan. but is also a fan experience where fans can write blogs in a certain section. The blog as a whole is primarily set up as an informative website but they also offer a fan experience where fans can interact with each other. The website allows Yankee fans to inform other fans one current Yankee situations. In order to access the website you must make a log in name and password to become a member of the site. Members have full access to blogs, stats, rosters, stories, highlights, and much more. There are sections labeled Fanposts and Fanphotos in order for fans to post personal experience. This website is trying to connect the Yankee community by giving them different virtual experiences to enhance their support of the New York Yankees. The website overall is well put together and is organized so fans know exactly what they are looking at but there could be improvements to enhance their site.  This content says that the organization is on the right track and the New York Yankees fans are dedicated to their team. The fans love New York and will do anything to talk baseball to anyone. 

In order to expand the brand the website could include an official partnership with the New York Yankees. The website could then include links to ticket sales, memorabilia, or the Yankee shop. Many Yankee blogs share the same content as Pinstripe Alley but partnering with the Yankees could put them over the top. In order for the Yankees to expand their brand they would accept this partnership because it gets them closer to the fans on a personal level. Being able to give fans what they want is what the Yankees strive for on a daily basis. If the Yankees were to get a blog on their own it would be identical to what the Pinstripe Alley content is. Pinstripe Alley is a one stop shop for all things Yankees and if fans want to talk Yankee baseball then Pinstripe Alley is the place to go.
