Club On The Go

 App One Sheet 
My main goal in creating the app sheet was to give people a sense of what Club on the Go would be like for the app users. The Club on the Go app features new ways for members of the club to connect with other members as well as staff. The new app offers a variety of lifestyle tips, tutoring sessions, sports games, and many other guidance to help out members of the community. Through the years the club has been scanning cards in by hand and has never had the technology to go digital with some of their programs. I came to the conclusion that club on the go would offer members a safe way to communicate with each other and the staff while staying active. This time that we are in right now is crucial for members of the club to stay active and involved with as much as they can. I want the club to be in the lives of youth members in my community always just to lend that extra hand that is often times needed.


R-O-P-E Plan 
The plan for me was to do the R-O-P-E model and use the information that way. I found out the the Boys and Girls Club was long over due for an upgrade in their technology. They have always been the old school way of doing things which is not a bad thing but it was too far out of date. The objective of this app is to bring members of the club together with staff to create a better life for them. We want to impact the lives of people of all age, race, and gender. The plan is to but this app out at the end of summer and let the members get used to it. With the virus there are many new steps that have to be put into place and this app helps take the next step for the community. The evaluation will be decided by how the members respond to the app. If members like it and use the bonus points they receive the app could be a success. Getting the attention of the members and keeping them engaged in activities keeps them out of trouble and doing the right thing.

The app that I created could be a hit or miss for the Boys and Girls Club. I came to the conclusion that this app was needed because of the way situations are when it comes to taking care of communities.To keep kids involved steps must be taken to adhere to the mission of the club. Without the help of the staff some of the youth are lost and in this time some youth members need help. The app will allow parents to let their kids stay active and busy with the activities the club will post on the app. The app will also allow members to earn bonus points for checking in and being a part of the club community. The need for activity and interaction will allow members to get back to what they are used to in some degree. This app fills the needs for kids who have no where else to turn to so they turn to the streets. The Boys and Girls Club wants to keep people safe and help them achieve their dreams whatever they may be.

To further extend the brand on this platform the app will fill the void that members have not had since school ended. The app will be a place where kids can hangout and see what is going on today at the club. It may not be an ideal situation but the club on the go offers kids new ways to interact and stay engaged in life. The interactions they will have on the app will be greater than what they have been doing previously and for the ones who really love going to the club the app offers them extra benefits if they complete task lists on the app. At the end of the day the Boys and Girls Club just wants to offer kids a chance to interact virtually and have fun doing it. Giving updates and keeping members busy can expand the brand and stay true to the mission that yes, great futures do start here!
